If you want to improve the shape or colour of a front tooth, veneers and composite bonding are the two routes people compare. Neither is simply better; they suit different cases.
Composite bonding
Bonding adds a tooth-coloured material directly to the tooth in a single visit. It is usually more affordable and involves little or no tooth reduction. It is a good option for small chips and gaps, though it can stain and chip over time.
Veneers
A veneer is a thin custom facing bonded to the front of the tooth. It tends to hold colour and shape longer and can transform a smile, but it usually involves more preparation and a higher cost. Some cases suit no-prep veneers, which patients often misunderstand as being the same as regular veneers.
